HELPING HAITI
In the first few days after the recent earthquake in Haiti, the full extent of the destruction and loss of life became clear, and we were all shocked by what we saw.
Like so many others, the people of MSCM were moved to begin a fund-raising program, to aid the relief effort. Our staff quickly donated $4,025, which was instantly matched by the firm’s partners. Our total of $8,050 was then matched by Canadian Government relief funds, for a total of $16,100 to be donated to the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Program. The re-building program in Haiti has barely begun, but we are hopeful that our contribution will help the Red Cross to continue their mission of mercy.
