Alex R. Makuz

B.SC., CA, TAX PARTNER

Alex Makuz, Tax Partner, has been in the accounting profession for 29 years and has worked exclusively in tax for over 25 years.

Alex worked for four years with the largest accounting firm in Timmins, Ontario before joining a national accounting firm, where he practiced for six years, with five years of those in the tax department. In 1984, Alex joined Moore Stephens Cooper Molyneux LLP and became a partner in 1987.

Alex has an extremely broad range of personal and corporate expertise. He often works with our U.S. associates on cross-border issues affecting our clients’ affairs.
